Dolorna began the way most good things do — slowly, and organically. What started as a habit of noticing — an estate sale here, a favorite artist there, a vase too beautiful to pass up — became something more intentional: a place to gather objects that carry weight, old and new alike. Vintage finds sit alongside contemporary pieces and fine art, chosen not for how they trend, but for how they last. 

Founded by Kelly Macdonald — an architect by training, an interior designer and real estate agent by trade, and a painter by hobby — who has spent years inside other people's homes — Dolorna is built on a simple belief: a soulful home should be collected, not decorated. Every piece here has been chosen the same way you'd choose a friend — slowly, and for keeps.

Art. Beauty takes many forms: a painting on the wall, a hand-thrown vessel, a piece shaped by an artisan's hands. Every object we offer is chosen because it is beautiful, heirloom in quality, and unlike anything else.

People. Behind every piece is a maker. We champion the artists and artisans whose work deserves to be seen, and we offer our customers the same care that went into the making.

Planet. Nothing beautiful should go to waste. Vintage pieces find a second life, recycled materials become something lovely, and we choose paper over plastic when possible.
